Jim Reif Builders employees attend Uniform Dwelling
Code seminar
FRANCIS CREEK, WIS.- Jim Reif and 12 field employees from
Jim Reif Builders attended 2008 Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code
(UDC) training to obtain the latest updates in the UDC code and
its application. The program, Knowing it Inside Out, was
sponsored by the Wisconsin Builders Association.
The seminar was the third of the “Building Up Knowledge” series
of training seminars offered by WBA. The focus of Knowing it
Inside Out was on wall assemblies as they relate to the
structure of the building, covering three distinct areas of a
dwelling – the basement, garage and main level. Topics of
discussion also included code development, administration and
enforcement, and the code within the code.
This UDC training, specifically designed for builders, designers
and others involved in the construction of residential
dwellings, will ensure that Jim Reif Builders employees have
detailed knowledge of new code changes as well as in-depth
knowledge of existing codes.
